Pastor Jon Opgenorth, Senior Pastor

Jon came to Trinity in 1999 from Muskegon, Michigan. He is a 1988 grad of NWC and a 1992 grad of Fuller Seminary. His passion is for people to find their greatest joy in knowing God and making much of Christ in all of their lives. He loves to preach on Sundays and lead people to follow Christ in mission through the week. Jon and Ann have been married for 20 years and have four children (Lauren, Nicole, Andrew, Julie). Favorite things include watching LOST, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and family vacations to off-the-beaten-track places.

 Associate Pastor

Bob De Boer will be joining Trinity as associate pastor in early fall of this year.

 Karen Clark, Family Ministries Director

Karen Clark grew up in Winnipeg, Canada and graduated from the University of Manitoba in Home Economics. She is a veteran children’s ministry worker having served at Trinity for 25 years in a variety of roles – youth sponsor and leader as well as coordinating the education program for children through adult. For the past 10 years, Karen has served as the Director of Family Ministry overseeing the children’s programming for infants up through fifth grade. She loves the challenge of developing programming that will reach into the lives of today’s children with the good news of Christ as well as helping adults discover and use their gifts as they participate in the Christian education of our children. Karen is the wife of Rick Clark and has four grown children and five grandchildren

Rob Vande Lune, Director of Student Ministries

Rob has been the Director of Student Ministries at Trinity since July of 2006 and oversees everything related to our middle school and high school ministries. He previously served as a Youth Director in Long Beach, California but missed the wonderful winters of Northwest Iowa so much that he just had to move back! Rob and Erin have been married for 8 years and is surrounded by beautiful little ladies at home- Gracie, Karys, and Addyson.  Along with juggling ministry at Trinity and all the females at home, Rob is also working on his MDiv through Bethel Seminaries' In-Ministry program.  When there is some free time you can find Rob on the golf course when it's warm enough and on the hardwood playing some basketball when it's cold enough!

 Kristi Van Oort, Administrative Assistant

Laurie’s hobbies include reading, cooking, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.

 Andy Keller, Director of Worship

Andy has been a part of Trinity since 2004 when he started attending and volunteering as a college student. After graduating from Northwestern, he became a member of the staff as the director of worship. Andy loves all kinds of music and enjoys leading Trinity in worship every week. Andy and his wife Amanda got married in the summer of 2008 and have enjoyed being a part of Trinity. Amanda also graduated from Northwestern and works as an athletic trainer.

When he is not at Trinity he can be found either at home in the garden, or working at the farm near Paullina. He and his wife, Sandi, also enjoy traveling to and visiting with their children (and families) in San Francisco, Chicago, and Des Moines.
